Peter Daniel joined Viola Law Firm in 2014 and has over 30 years of legal expertise. He is known for being a tireless advocate for his clients, highly effective in all courtroom situations and always keeps an eye on his clients’ bottom line. His wide-ranging litigation experience often serves as a unique advantage in family law matters, which often involve legal issues that cross over into other legal areas.
Peter’s diverse practice includes civil litigation, family law litigation, probate litigation, and estate planning. Peter has represented clients in complex family law matters, including property division, support, child custody and visitation, paternity, and domestic violence.
Peter’s civil litigation practice includes personal injury matters, contract/business litigation, and real estate litigation. His probate litigation practice has included family disputes relating to trusts, wills, and insurance policies, while his estate planning practice includes drafting and administration of trusts, wills, and powers of attorney.
While with the Viola Law Firm, Peter has practiced in the family law, civil, and probate departments of state superior courts throughout the Bay Area and, when necessary, federal courts. Because some matters call for negotiation and settlement and some require an aggressive attitude pushing forward through trial, Peter’s litigation style is adaptable to the situation at hand, depending on the goals and resources of the client.
Peter attended Law School at Golden Gate University and completed his undergraduate studies at University of California at Berkeley. Peter is married, lives on the Peninsula, and has raised two successful daughters.
