Andrea J. Valim

Andrea Valim joined the Viola Law Firm in 2004 and exclusively practices family law. She has handled all aspects of family law, including prenuptial agreements, child custody issues, child and spousal support, and division of property. She has successfully represented clients in domestic violence matters. Notably, after a 10-day domestic violence trial, she recently prevailed on a motion for attorney’s fees pursuant to Family Code, Section 271, wherein the client was awarded the entirety of their fees — over $260,000.

Andrea attended the University of California, Davis’s King Hall School of Law. There, she was involved in the Family Law Clinic, which provided legal services to Yolo County residents. She also received the Witkin Award in Evidence. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley.

Andrea is a Bay Area native and is a member of the San Mateo County Bar Association and American Bar Association.
